Design: Designed a fault-tolerant system using CAS-based RabbitMQ consumer claiming; implemented transactional rollbacks and recovery flows to ensure graceful failure handling and consistent data processing.
Optimization: Optimized queries using CTEs and INT-based joins, removing inefficient VARCHAR casts, enabling computation of 40+ metrics in a single scan; improved throughput with keyset pagination and batch inserts.
Collaborated with a highly motivated team under supportive leadership, fostering an ownership-driven environment while working extensively with NodeJS in TypeScript and legacy Dropwizard systems. Participated in monthly on-call rotations, proactively identifying and resolving production issues to improve system reliability.
